Things are really looking up these days. I met a really nice gentleman at a Grief Counciling site... He is from North Carolina and we actually got to meet. He drove all the way out here to Linden just to meet me... and we have become fast friends since then. He is a dedicated Christian and we share the same core values and beliefs. He was welcomed by my churh family, and he said he loved where I attended church and never felt so welcome. He... -

It's been awhile since I have come in here... my heart is so broken but my spirit still is in tact... although a bit bruised.... However, healing is coming directly from my personal relationship with the Lord..
I received this in an email this am... and it fits as perfectly as a pair of custom made designer shoes...

So much to do... paperwork, trying to figure out what direction to take next. This is much more difficult than I ever imagined. I feel Christ with me at every moment of my day and I lean heavily upon His strength that He gives of so freely. I am keeping my heart and mind focused on Christ, who is alive and working in my life every moment. He is showing me how to take this horrible aching root of my grief and how to lift it high in praise and thanksgiving for... -

I went to Lady's Bluff for a short hike not too long ago. It's a short hiking trail, at just about 3 miles..., and only a few rather steep places that tend to be a bit challenging... At one particularly slipperly slope, I took a tumble and got bruised up some, and yes it sure did hurt... And I thought for a few moments that maybe I should turn back... give up ..... but as I sat there on the ground, I just listened to the quiet in the forest...I was surrounded by...

Lean your head upon my chest. I know well your weariness, and every burden I will lift. Don't bury your griefs - offer them up to Me. You will relieve your soul of much strain if you can lay every care in My hand. Don't cling to trouble - turn it over Me. In doing so you will free Me to work it out. Know you are loved by the Creator of the Universe. May you find peace in that glorious news!
